 The
rowing season in Croatia begins again
with 25th International Croatian Open
regatta. Regatta is included in
international events calendar by FISA,
and it is one of the strongest rowing
competition in Europe in this part of
the season.
Zagreb rowing federation and Rowing club
Croatia are organizers of this regatta.
In Croatia open 2007, Zagreb has hosted
rowers from many countries: Croatia,
Austria, Estonia, Greece, Hungary,
Israel, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia &
Monte Negro and Turkey. There was more
than 1200 rowers in 680 crews during two-day
competition. In 2008 we hope to
outnumber last years competition.
 Croatia
open 2008 will last for two days and
everyone who loves and enjoys rowing
will be pleased with it. As always this
regatta will show as how well prepared
rowers are after their hard training
during winter. This is also a big
opportunity for national teams directors
and trainers to put a list of rowers who
will take places in national teams.
The culmination of this rowing season
this year is 4th European university rowing championship on August 25th to 31st 2008.
